Clin Micro Open 2022

March 18, 2022

The Clin Micro Open (CMO) is a forum that brings together laboratory and industry leaders to discuss current and potential issues affecting the future of diagnostic clinical microbiology and explore mechanisms to capitalize on opportunities and mitigate challenges.  The goal is to learn from each other by exchanging ideas and informal networking to cultivate partnerships and ultimately improve patient care.

This dynamic one-day forum will focus on preparing for the next pandemic and defining the path to effective use of updated clinical breakpoints for antimicrobial susceptibility testing. The participants will present the keynote talks followed by roundtable discussions with the intent of formulating recommendations for future activities or collaborations.

Date: June 12 - 13, 2022
Location: Washington, DC

There will be approximately 80 attendees with equal representation between laboratory and industry. Industry attendees will be members of ASM’s Corporate Council and identified by their company.
